Over fifty years ago Peter & Marjorie Edwards quit their day jobs and started their own removals business. As a young couple with two young boys on the scene this was not a decision to be taken lightly, but it was something they were determined to do. The removals industry was no stranger to them. Peter had worked for his father and elder brother at W.J Edwards Removals and Marjorie used to run their removals office.
As soon as you know you are going to be relocating, don't leave this to the last minute. We are happy to visit you as soon as you would like and our quotations are valid for up to 3 months. To provide an accurate written quotation we would always recommend that our surveyor visits you to ascertain exactly what you have to be moved and to go through all of your requirements with you.

We couldn’t be more satisfied with the service received. The crew were extremely accommodating and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our move was unusual as we were moving my 78 year old mum into a retirement bungalow on the same day we were moving. I was especially pleased with how friendly, helpful and reassuring they were to her which made what could have been an upsetting and stressful experience into a very stress free one. We pass on our gratitude to the whole team and can’t recommend Stephens enough.

Just fantastic from the process of the guy that quoted us to the team that moved us. Really professional and kept the day fun, despite key pick up being so late! What a fantastic moving house experience. From initial survey to booking to actual move day the staff were superb. Dean, Aaron & Will were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We even got a back up team… to help move into our new home! The office girls were brilliant too with great communication. Totally recommend Stephens.

We moved on the 20th November 2020. AJ and the boys were amazing with all of the families possessions. They took down wardrobes and beds and then reassembled them the other end perfectly. All throughout the day the boys never stopped and worked so so hard.
Highly recommend Stephens for any removal.

Fantastic value for money. We paid for the full disassembly, reassembly and packing service. Over the 2 days of work Bob, Phil and Aaron were brilliant. Everything was done efficiently and professionally. I would look nowhere else if I move again or if am asked to recommend from a friend. Spectacular service

We moved from Luton to East Sussex and we had one of their large vans full up with our house contents, Stephens were professional throughout and ensured that we had a very smooth move to our new house. Breath-takingly rude, arrogant, and unprofessional in my opinion. I will never EVER use this removal firm again. I would advise you to go elsewhere too. Seriously, go ANYWHERE else. Any other company would have to be better than these people who treat the customer with utter contempt and hostility. I have given them one star simply because this website requires it. If it were up to me, though, they would be awarded negative points. It is simply inexcusable for any organisation purporting to offer a certain level of customer service to act in such bad faith as these people have done with me. A huge

We couldn’t be more pleased we entrusted our move to Stephens. The 3 guys who did the work over two snowy, frozen days, worked tirelessly to ensure our entire house was packed and moved without incident. Whenever there was an issue, such as getting a large sofa through a small door, they found a solution! Nothing was too much trouble.Thank you especially to AJ, Lee and Nathan!
