Davey Gardening was founded in 1982 by Stephen George Davey. After leaving a plastic injection moulding toolmaking position, he worked alone for 18 years building and streamlining a mowing round. In the winter months he learned new elements of the gardening/landscaping/groundworking areas of the trade.
In the year 2000 Christopher Davey, Stephen's son finished high school and around college and a year out travelling built up his knowledge of the trade working alongside his father. Now Davey Gardening prides itself in providing what we believe is one of the best gardening services in the South East of England.
We have stuck with traditional values and methods, using more modern technologies to provide the best quality work with the most efficiency possible, giving our customers the best value. We have built a mowing round of upwards of 150 customers ranging from very tiny courtyard garden lawns to lawns bigger than an acre, these vary from domestic properties, to communal areas, and commercial properties.

Davey Gardening have been cutting our lawns and trimming our hedges for 7 years In addition to clearing the leaves from our 14 oak trees in our woodland ,which is no mean task.
Further they have executed many landscaping projects for us including paving and have developed and built a garden wall feature which is to our eyes perfection and a fine example of their craftsmanship and many skills.
We highly recommend this family team for any gardening projects.

We have used Davey Gardening for many years. In addition to expertly caring for our lawned areas they have also undertaken fencing work and a major landscaping of our rear garden. This involved both hard and soft landscaping. Their contribution to bringing our. ideas to fruition were invaluable.
Their work has always been of the highest quality and always done in a friendly but very professional manner.

Stephen and Chris of Davey Gardening have mowed, fertilised and weed-killed our lawns for nearly 18 years. They are very approachable and provide a superb, professional service, being very knowledgeable and extremely hardworking. They also cut our hedges, repair our fences (our garden is exposed to high winds) and lay paving. Last year they re-turfed our large back lawn and the result is beautifully cut, consistently green grass. We heartily recommend Davey Gardening.
