The business was founded as a partnership in 1987 by husband and wife team Mike and Sue Watling with the focus on manufacturing roof blinds for the conservatory industry, which was then in it's infancy. Their previous experience in engineering was invaluable in solving the problems of making blinds in the shapes required for the Victorian and Georgian style buildings.
