Surewire are pre-wired maintenance free lighting electrical junction boxes that have been designed and developed to be a replacement for single junction boxes, the loop-in ceiling rose system and downlighter junction boxes. Surewire junction boxes dramatically make the wiring of a lighting system, less time consuming, simpler, modular and cheaper.
All cables can be cut and stripped to the same length with most wiring completed on the first fix and just one cable to wire at the light on the second fix. Our products are rated to 16A 250V and approved to BS EN 60670-22. They can be used for all lighting systems in domestic, commercial and industrial premises.
All of our products and design are patented and the reference is GB2496683. It was a great achievement to be selected as finalists in these categories and shows what the industry thinks of the Surewire products. Feedback from the awards and changes in the wiring regulations made us replace the screw terminals with maintenance free terminals for product launch.

Services
There are 2 Surewire pre-wired maintenance free light and switch junction boxes available SW4L-MF and SW2L-MF. Each model has 2 power in/out connections and a number of independent light and switch connections. SW2L-MF has been designed for the addition of extra lighting including extensions, conservatories, garages, lofts and outdoor lighting etc.
We have selected the 1st floor plan of a standard 4 bedroom house and illustrated each of the different light and switch wiring systems for comparison. 1 SW4L-MF + SW2L-MF Surewire 6way pre-wired maintenance free light and switch junction box. Loop-in ceiling roses are difficult to wire with 3 cables to strip, bend and wire with limited space available.
