MNA prepared several proposals for this site. The plan shows the most recent - the original building converted to flats, with three new houses one of which is. Internal and external alterations to a Thankerton house, a farmhouse extension in Midlothian, improvement options for a country house near Biggar, the interior remodelling of an Edinburgh villa: these and.

Services
I see the practice of architecture as contextual - clearly derived from the needs of building users, site analysis and the careful detail of building fabric. Membership of ECAN, the Edinburgh Chartered Architects Network complements that view, and enables the sharing of contacts and technical knowledge.

Not ever having used an architect this was always going to be something of an 'adventure'. Mr Nisbet however made the process of getting the drawings that we needed done, offering advice on a range of subjects to do, not only with the drawings, but also on the planning process and arranging the builders themselves.

As far as first experiences go I found the service offered competent, the fee structure and terms of payment were clear and well set out from the start. At times I did feel as though there was a lack of communication and we weren't always clear where the plans stood
