Custombuilt recently replaced my uPVC front door with victorian storm doors. Excellent service from start to finish. I received very helpful advice on the colour and external finishing from Dominic. The installation was painless and both the joiner and plasterer did great work and couldn't have been more helpful. The doors were installed within the timescales set and most important of all the quality is excellent and they look fantastic. Highly recommend.

Asked Custom built to quote for replacing storm doors on our Victorian house. Had only looked them up online. From the onset, was very impressed with Dominic McCrone. He asked us to drop in at their workshop and showed us around. Explained the options for the fittings on the door. He kept us posted on the progress. He also got us in touch with a designer for making bespoke stained glass design for the fanlight.
The door is an absolute masterpiece! Can't thank them enough for strong sturdy and good looking storm doors. 👍

They replaced my front storm door without incident, made a decent job of it other than using screws that are clearly unsuitable for external use, and 3 of 8 internal doors, damaging my bathroom floor in the process. They now, despite previously agreeing to, refuse to return to attend to the damage caused to my bathroom floor, other than at times suitable solely to them. They knew I intended to replace the remaining 5 internal doors. Rather than turn down the work, they decided to alienate a customer. They're quick enough to demand payment - shame they refuse to make good on damage they caused.

Outside front doors were getting stuck and not closing properly after 3 years, contacted the company and told outwith warranty, they wanted to charge for coming out to look at it. Overall impression was that they were not interested. Poor effort at maintaining customer relationships from this company. Now after having the doors for 7 years wood is now rotting from where not sealed properly. Haven’t bothered to go back to company in view of previous response. I would advise to stay away from them.

Old storm doors had rotted. Engaged Custombuilt Joinery to replace. Victorian stone house. New doors are beautiful. Came in hardwood ready spray painted same colour as rest of woodwork. Replaced top panels with glass. The etched glass which matched the inner porch doors done by Matt are outstanding. Dominic was the person who sold me them was very attentive and gladly changed small things I wasn’t happy with with no fuss. Pricey but excellent workmanship.
