Trading since 1982, we stock over 10,000 products from our single acre site in Langley Mill, Nottingham.
Timber products available include softwood, hardwood, MDF, doors, skirting and plywood, as well as decking, tanalised (pre-treated) timber and railway sleepers. We also stock a large quantity of new and reclaimed building materials such as bricks, roofing tiles, slates and slabs. For the garden we offer sheds, fence panels, stone statues, water features and many other varied and unique garden ornaments.

The place is a little disorganised but full of allsorts new and old. I really like it as you never know what you might find and they are normally reasonable priced and down to earth people. If you prefer more organised places such as Wickes or B&Q ti's may not be the place for you but you will pay extra elsewhere. Eg. 6ft Fence Post was £3,50 @Fletchers, 7,50 @ another Timber murchant and £11 @ Wickes. The only downside is when they are busy is finding someone and some of the stock may be a little old.

Spoke to my husband like he was second class citizen today. My husband was about to order a load of decking boards, he asked the question what happens if some boards come cracked or unusable after delivery. The main guy called him a none starter, said no one questions him and Walked off. Great treatment to NHS working guy!!! Disgusting!

Always a great selection of materials from wood to stone plus garden ornamentations, numerous wall plaques and above all friendly helpful staff plus the prices are more than reasonable with the added extra of delivery service to boot, what's not to like. And just check out the lovely Victorian chimney stock, great.

I would not call this a timber yard, even though it sells wood, it is an Aladins cave of bits and pieces, at reasonable prices, like a reclaimers yard. Old doors, old bricks and slates and various metalworkings. This place as been a gold mine for me over the years, just visit and you will see what I mean, brilliant place keep up the good work guys
