Stratos has a specialist, dedicated bathroom team and have created some of the most beautiful and solidly constructed bathrooms imaginable. We design and build a bathroom based on the remit and desires of our client. These can be simple or elaborate. Traditional or modern. We also specialise in creating new bathrooms and en-suite shower rooms in areas others may not have considered possible.

The company started by only doing period restoration work and it remains an area we excel in. We recently finished restoring one of the largest and most beautiful Victorian houses on Kingston Hill. A spectacular property which was a pleasure to work on. The final result is agreed, by all who visit, to be quite incredible.

After my father passed away it no longer became feasible for my elderly mother and severely disabled sister to live without additional assistance so it was decided an annex (in effect a self contained flat with accessibility prioritised) would be the best solution. I met with multiple builders (with Stratos being the first) but what impressed me about the team from Stratos is the time they took to understand what we needed rather than just blindly following the architect's plans.

Stratos have been great. They did a lot of building work for me, including creating 2 new bathrooms (necessitating lots of new plumbing work including external), forming a pitched roof where there was previously a flat one), installing new opening with French doors and removing a corridor to form a larger bedroom. Decorating all new areas and also making good. Their workers are considerate, hard working, and conscientious and the owner is full of integrity and extremely diligent. Highly recommend.

We thought that using a local building company will be the best option . With Trusted Traders we felt this was a good company to go ahead with .
In total we had 3 project managers, increased costs of works during the project from estimated 70K we ended at 100K .
But now after living in the house we have noticed many defects and mainly our UFH and newly laid porcelain tiles moving . Over 40m2 of tiled floor has cracked grout everywhere and many moving tiles .
Paul Startos , the owner has promised to fix the floor. 6 months later we are still waiting for this to be done .
I shall remove this
