Five commercial industrial units built for our client, on a plot of land on the Staverton Connection site. Steel framework with half brick clad and half insulated steel cladding. Built to match the surrounding industrial units. Due to the large scale of the site, there was call for a large holding pond to reduce the flow rate of the surface water into the natural water course, behind the units.
Thorn Homes were chosen by the South West regional judges as the winner of the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) 'Extensions and renovations under 100,000' prize in the South West 2012. This category is the most relevant to all homeowners, as we all spend up to this amount on our properties, in our lifetime.

We’ve just had an extension completed by Thorn Homes. After a very rocky start (the contract we agreed to be sublet to Build Projects Ltd to enable a quicker start, whom I’m afraid I cannot recommend), once the team from Thorn Homes themselves took over we were extremely pleased. The guys are lovely, very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and above all excellent at what they do. Our extension is of a really high quality and we are over the moon with the end result.
