In light of the downturn Jamie started looking for an everyday product that he could promote in a new or more effective way to the general public. 18 months later following extensive research and a chance encounter he decided to venture into carpet retailing. Having already experienced this business from the customer's perspective he realised there was scope for much improvement.

Once again Jamie and his team have knocked it out of the park with our carpets. I have lost track of the number of times we have now used The Salisbury Carpet Company; in fact other than two bathrooms, they have done all our floors either hard flooring or carpets. Professional, efficient and superb quality throughout the entire process, I couldn't more strongly recommend Jamie and his team to anyone: that's how much I trust and rate them.

I highly recommend this company. Having ordered a carpet from another shop which didn't arrive and didn't arrive, I rang Salisbury Carpet Company mid-lockdown, and by the end of the day had been able to see a sample of an alternative, and order it. Though it was marginally more expensive than what I'd first chosen, it was also much nicer. Paula and her husband kept me informed of the progress of my order with the supplier, and were able to drop off the carpet (I used an independent carpet fitter who has worked for me in the past) three days earlier than I was expecting, which means that the carpet

A first class professional but friendly service where nothing was too much trouble. A wide range of carpets were available to view and to take home as swatches. Great technical knowledge and helpful guidance of all the products and what might suit our room, e.g. hardwearing. The home visit to measure up was excellent and again, questions were answered and advice given.
Carpet fitters were very polite and tidy; they did a fantastic job of laying the sitting room and dining room carpet and vacuumed thoroughly afterwards before asking us to have a look round and make sure we were happy..
