Carpets by Russell is an independent family run business based in Little Sutton, just off the A41 half way between Chester and Birkenhead. Founded in 1936 as 'The Carlton Furnishing Company' the shop has been in Russell's family since 1956. We pride ourselves on quality products, service, expert installations and after-sales.
No job is too small or too large and our team of specialised fitters will ensure the same level of care whether the cost be an 8 per metre make-over, or an 80 per metre special design Axminster. Estimates are free and completely without obligation, we do not ask for up-front payments and all quotes will be provided verbally within 24 hours of us measuring, and confirmed in writing on request.
We offer an excellent range of resilient floors, such as Karndean and Polyfloor, we are approved Quick Step laminate stockists and also provide a Specialised Design Service for commercial installatioins. This includes Safety flooring and floor preparations such as Screeding. In order to offer even more competitive prices and enable us to under-cut the out of town retail giants, we are members of the Associated Carpet Group (ACG).

Appalling service and terrible fitting, what a horrible man Russell is. He fitted flooring that was recommended by him for the area he came and measured. He said he would fit the flooring on Wednesday but his fitters turned up on Friday. The floor was not fitted properly, with a big bubble in the middle so I contacted Russell that same day. He came out and said it is fine, not a bubble just the floor! I asked if it would get any worse and he said no. Well a week later almost all of the floor has bubbles and ridges in it, it is a trip hazard. Russell came out again and said we were walking on it

I am decorating room by room upstairs prior to the new carpets being laid. I cannot praise this company enough for their help and advice, the quality of the carpet at a very good price and the professional and courteous way in which the fitters have completed the job half way so far. 5 stars is not enough!
