Our company was founded in 1913 by David T Shanks. As a farmer he built up a successful dairy farm with the help of his sons George and James and together they diversified into haulage, building up a fleet of tippers supplying building and landscaping materials throughout the central belt of Scotland.
DT Shanks provides solutions for all natural and synthetic sports turf and grass pitch requirements. Our staff offer a host of maintenance operations as well as complete construction packages. We have been involved in the construction and maintenance natural surfaces throughout Scotland working on projects such as new schools and local authority playing fields.
