Arnold began his journey as a cabinet maker when he was a teenager completing an apprenticeship in joinery then going on to obtain a BA (Hons) degree in furniture design. His desire to get stuck in to this field saw him starting Arnold's Kitchens ten years ago and has since produced an array of beautiful bespoke kitchens, concrete worktops and interiors.

This ethereal cottage kitchen has a respectful design. The brief was to create a seamless light, yet comforting space with a sophisticated and natural feel. A bespoke mix of materials were used to create the space including handmade brass handles, patinated zinc, concrete and natural sawn wood. We sourced a brass sink and a stunning brass tap which both pop out when paired with the concrete worktops and patinated zinc backsplash.
A selective mix of materials were used to create the space including brass, copper, steel, concrete, wood and vintgage tiles. Handmade copper sink, hand-built antique globe brass taps (assembled in our workshop), weathered copper kick-plates. Original barn siding reclaimed timber on doors. The concrete worktops were cast in-situ to give a seamless design.
This completely unique, industrial kitchen was a joy to create and design. The centrepiece, statement concrete island has tapered sides to give toe room when standing and the rest of the kitchen uses an array of mixed raw materials. Searching online for designs for our kitchen project, we chanced upon Arnold's website and were immediately drawn to his use of sustainable and locally sourced materials and to the concrete worktops, which he is able to cast in situ.
When we met him, Arnold instinctively got our brief, offering practical insight as well as design creativity, reinforced when he visited our home and fine-tuned his ideas to marry with the history of the house. We were inspired by our initial meeting and shown some amazing work already completed by the team. From start to finish the communications and product choice were considered before the build commenced. If any person wants a personal journey with lots of positives, Arnoldskitchens.co.uk are the place for you. We are amazed at how well the team worked on site and were very clean and understanding. I would fully recommend the team, we were impressed with the workmanship and after care service.

I came across Arnold’s Kitchens via a google whilst searching for concrete worktops and found the the perfect outfit not just for stunning concrete worktops but a talented, creative and conscientious kitchen and cabinets maker, who produces truely bespoke one off kitchens. The expresssion ‘handmade kitchens’ is frequently and frankly misleadingly used by kitchen companies to describe their products. Here you have a true hand made product by a truely creative craftsman. Fully recommended if you want something individual and unique which will fully stand the test of time.
