This Reflective acoustic system has been fully tested and certified and will meet the requirements of the local councils and planners up and down the country. This system comprises of our unique timber 'tuning fork' design posts and 125mm boards featuring an interlocking "vee" coupled with a tongue and groove.
This fence is made using a lighter 20mm thick board and has not been through any testing and is not certified. It is used where the visual impact is more important than the sound impact.
A lighter 20mm thick board compared to our Premier Acoustic Reflective barrier, maintaining the same 123mm cover face, planed tongue and groove boards with a small chamfer which form a "vee" join between the boards, suitable for installation where the required noise reduction is lower then that which would be provided by the standard Premier Acoustic noise barrier - or where a superficial mass of 12kg/m or lower is specified.

This fencing system has been designed for areas where you do not wants the noice to bounce back to where it has come from. This system can be used around air conditioning units, heat source pumps and where you have large buildings opposite that the sound can bounce off. Both of our Premier Acoustic Reflective and Premier Acoustic Highway barriers can be upgraded to the Absorptive system.
The Premier Acoustic Highway Barrier can be produced to almost any height, it uses galvanized steel I-beam posts for extra support. The thickness of the I-beam is dependent on the postcoded area and the project requirements. This latest acoustic barrier system has been designed for Highways and Commercial applications, providing the same level of noise protection as the Premier Acoustic Reflective 25kg/m barrier.
