Services
After leaving College Chris worked for a company in South Birmingham as a climber before deciding one year later, to start a business of his own.
After setting up things have gone from strength to strength, one of the main attributes is that Chris Peak of Sutton Coldfield Ltd would be classed as a small business and because of this our overheads are low, which results in very competitive prices compared to some larger companies operating in the same area.

Arboriculture is the study of amenity trees in urban areas. As an Arborist it may become necessary to carry out tree pruning operations to help maintain a tree in safe condition, to remove dead wood and branches, to promote growth, to regulate the size and shape of a trees canopy or even the flowers and fruit.
Crown lifting as the name suggests is the removal of the lowest branches in the trees canopy, this is generally considered less stressful to the tree, good practice will dictate that only secondary branches are to be removed but in some circumstances it may be necessary to remove a main structural branch.
Stump Grinding is a method used to remove the root ball of a tree that has been cut to ground level. The stumps are 'ground' using specialist stump grinding machines which utilize a large steel wheel with tungsten tipped finger teeth positioned evenly around it. The wheel rotates at high speed while the operator gently moves the machine from side to side grinding the stump out.
As a result of more and more people turning to wood burning stoves to escape the increase in their energy bills, we can supply hardwoods predominately Oak, Ash, Birch, Sycamore etc. to meet this demand. These can be supplied as logs or as timber with this being a cheaper option if you have the facilities to cut and split your own.

Chris completed a job for me on 6/6/2020. Customer service, communication regarding the job, workmanship was top class from start to finish.
On the day of the job Chris arrived at the time he stated. The work was completed in a timely fashion and the area was kept very tidy considering the work they were doing.
I would happily call Chris for any future jobs without hesitation, it’s refreshing to have an a team work in this manner when you hear so many stories regarding poor workmanship. Book Chris with confidence, top guy with a brilliant team.

Chris and his team removed a full grown Silver Birch tree for me at the end of a week of terrible weather. The team are professional, carried out their risk assessment, communicated with my neighbours and worked really hard completing the job in half a day. Good value, reliable, definitely recommended.
