Services
As we are an award winning and fully qualified Block Paving installer, be assured that if you use us for a resin driveway you know you will be getting a good service. You can feel confident of a great result as we work professionally from start to finish. Resin is a permeable surface, so great to use on driveways, patios, paths or alongside block paving.
We install our gravel driveways to a high specification, always using a membrane between the hard core and soil; to prevent weeds. We dig out between 200-300mm for the driveway depending on the soil conditions before laying the sheeting, hard core and then gravel. We can supply all sorts of different types and colours of gravel, from Cambridgeshire golden gravel to all the choices in our brochures.
As qualified carpenters to NVQ level 1, 2 and 3, we offer all fencing and decking solutions. We undertake your fencing and decking requirements to a high standard, more so than a normal landscaper is able to offer. We use a wide range of fencing materials. Whether you would like low budget fence panels or something better quality such as concrete post and gravel boards or close board feather edge, we are able to work within your budget.
There are different ways to prepare for and lay a patio. The simplest and therefore, most cost effective way is to dig a shallow foundation and lay slabs onto a dry sand and cement mix and brush the dry mix into the paving joints. At AMS Building and Landscaping, we prefer to use a comprehensive foundation - minimum 120mm depth with a ground sheet covered by 80mm hardcore and topped with a 3 to 1 wet sand and cement mix.

We have just had our driveway block paved with AMS Building & Landscapes Ltd. We are very pleased with the work that Andy and his team have carried out for us. From the very beginning Andy gave us great guidance in what style & design would be best for our house. He explained in depth what work is required & every step throughout excavation, preparation & installation was done to a very high standard. Very professional & reliable company.
