DGS Trees provides arboricultural contracting services to other businesses on an ad-hoc and contract basis. We specialise in commercial tree work and up to 80% of our annual work relates to aboricultural contracting services provided to other businesses. When instructed to undertake work, we always check the legal tree protection status of all trees included in our quotations.
We provide free no obligation quotations for homeowners and tenants to help manage trees and vegetation growing within the boundaries of their home or affecting their home from outside the boundary. Our quotations are written and are a fixed price cost, customers will only ever pay the original quotation value when the work is completed, prices will never suddenly increase without prior agreement for any reason.

Have used DGS for about 3 years now to maintain all our hedges and trees twice a year. They are so professional, tidy and absolute perfectionists when it comes to hedge work that I’d never use anyone else. Mark and Brad here for 7 hours today and didn’t stop until perfection was achieved, which of course it eventually was... thanks guys !

The service provided by Mark and his team was excellent. He spent an hour on site before quoting, advising on felling, crown reduction and selective pruning of 12 trees, looking at pros and cons. On site he produced a detailed map of the trees to be tackled in the garden. The quote was itemised with accompanying photos of the trees with annotations illustrating what trees would look like after work had been done..The quote was competitive and work completed on time and garden left tidy. Would highly recommend.

Mark, Jack and Mike did a brilliant job trimming two trees and felling another. Worked hard all day in horrible weather. They consistently asked me throughout the day whether I was happy with how the trees were turning out and I was very happy with the end result. They were conscientious and left the garden tidier than they found it! All at a very reasonable price.

I had a large oak tree that had fallen against another oak tree. The tree was in a precarious state making its removal quite a challenging technical job with the tension and compression points in the trunk and limbs varying as the tree was carefully dismantled. The guys doing the work were great and Mark the Director also took time to supervise. I was kept informed at all times. Health and safety management was excellent and I highly recommend DGS Trees.

We recently had a very large rhododendron hedge cut right back by DGS. The service received was excellent. The team worked really hard to get the desired result. They cleared everything away so no mess was left at all. The price was very competitive too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services.

Extremely pleased and happy with Mark and his team! They are very efficient as they provide detailed explanations about the process of cutting down the trees. We got them to cut down 5 trees in our garden (very hard job), and they did a splendid job with a competitive and reasonable price. Totally recommend these friendly and polite guys! We will choose them again in the future. Highly recommend!
