It's not always possible as we may be working on site at another location, but the phone will always be answered, 24/7, 365 days a year and if we are unable to get to you quickly enough, we will find someone for you who can.

I served for 15 years completing tours in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan to name but a few. It was during the last couple years serving that I realised that I wanted to spend more time with my partner Steph and my friends & family. I made the decision to leave and after undertaking comprehensive training, I established Abbey Locksmiths.
We can reach any homes within our catchment area (Huntingdon, St Ives, Chatteris and surrounding Cambridgeshire villages) within 30 minutes, providing we are not already with a customer! Estimates can be given over the phone but can only be as accurate as the information provided by the customer. As we have free call out, we recommend a site visit, when an accurate quote can be given.

We called Abbey Locksmith on a Sunday morning, as our front door failed to lock on our way out. We were told that they would be with us within the hour, however 20 minutes later someone arrived.
The locksmith explained the problem and carried out the work quickly and efficiently. Within 15 minutes the problem was sorted.

John very kindly came out for what turned out to be a false alarm (I thought I had a broken lock but it was actually the door handle that was broken, doh.) He was very gracious about it and didn't even charge me for my stupidity (which he really should have done). Professional, friendly, helpful, I will definitely use them again in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thanks John!

Called this morning as I was locked in my house and despite already being very busy they came out within half hour, changed the lock to a fancy new one (it needed changing anyway so this was the best option) and made a massive fuss of our dog who was super pleased. Very glad these were the first people I called and I would thoroughly recommend for 100% professionalism and friendliness!
