Our company Report

Barker Joinery is a family business, run by Simon Barker. Simon Barker started out as an apprentice bench hand joiner in 1985. He has since gained experience in all aspects of joinery working in several York based firms, before setting up Barker Joinery in 2005. He can undertake all areas of joinery work, from small jobs such as hanging a single door, to renovating your entire house.

Our services Report

A kitchen, very often the heart of the home and the family meeting-place, must be planned precisely and fitted with expertise. Your loft might now be a place to store your junk, but we could make it into a kids playroom - a master bedroom or an office. We deliver only high-quality products.

Bespoke Furniture Report

We offer a service to either build your individual piece of furniture or fit it exactly to its surroundings, be they doors, tables, cupboards or cabinets. We provide a versatile range of solutions to design your living areas: individual home-fittings, comprehensive installations, repairs or renovation.

Extensions and Loft Conversions Report

Almost all of the extensions and loft conversions we undertake are through personal recommendations. We can look after your entire project for you - from organising your designs and helping with the planning process, through to the finishing touches and decorations at the end.

Kitchens Report

We shall gladly assist you through the entire process: planning, custom-design and fitting. Your first step is to contact us to arrange for Simon to visit for a free, no obligation quotation to discuss your requirements. We can then arrange for one or both of our main suppliers (we currently use Magnet Trade and Howdens Joinery) to visit you to meausre up.
