Serviced Design puts our focus firmly on you and your vision, whether a small extension, a barn conversion or a truly grand design. We work hard on the relationships at every level, listening carefully to what you want. Recording key decisions clearly and keeping the lines of communication open at all times, we'll ensure that you know what to expect, and when to expect it.
No matter how well we plan or visualise something in our mind - the reality can often be somewhat different. That's why we offer 3D visualisation as a stand-alone service, or as a part of our complete architectural service. We are very aware of the statistics that tell us that very few people have the gift of 'seeing' the finished product in 3D from a set of drawings.
If one buys a car one expects a full set of accurate plans and diagrams covering every aspect of the designs and features. That car may have cost less than 20,000. And yet people are spending maybe 200,000 or more on a house and expect nothing with it! Over the time one owns a house one might extend, convert, adapt, rewire or re-plumb, and every time this happens, someone has to come in and measure up from scratch.
Alterations and an extension by Stephen Waldron Architects to a property in the Brecon Beacons National Park delivers the WOW! factor. We were instructed by a client we had previously worked for to prepare plans and planning for a bungalow with a view in Southerndown. A glass-roofed converted barn in Crai becomes a first for the Brecon Beacons National Park with the help of our planning expertise!
