As the saying goes 'No Job Too Small' we cover all aspects of the painting and decorating trade from a small room to a complete renovation of a country mansion. At Bushell & Scott we believe in traditional skills and traditional values with modern, period sundries and paints. We take great care and pride in bringing you quality workmanship and customer satisfaction with minimal disruption and cleanliness at all times.
Bushell and Scott are now solely run by Marc Scott. We are based in Crowborough with over 25 years experience in the painting and decorating trade. Having worked within companies as well as establishing my own successful businesses, we have been contracted throughout the Kent, Sussex and Surrey areas.
Our reputation is growing due to the quality of our workmanship and attention to detail, the finish we achieve by hand painting alone is hard to distinguish from the original factory finish of your cabinets and is as close to a sprayed finish you can get yet all painted by the hands of our highly skilled decorators.
Bushell & Scott are delighted to announce that we now offer state-of-the-art dust-free sanding solutions on every job. We take pride in creating a flawless, professional finish in all aspects of our painting and decorating, and in order to achieve this, every surface to be painted must first be filled and sanded down to a smooth base.

An unexpected outlay, but money well spent. Marc is without question a very skilled craftsman. He’s utterly focused and his attention to detail is second to none. He’s polite, prompt and engaging. We had Mark and Mark to paint our tower - (so easy to remember names when they're both the same!) We have never encountered such perfectionisits! The two guys came on time, and worked a full day. They took the shortest of lunch breaks and worked tirelessly to ensure that what I wanted was what I got! My job wasn't the easiest.. lots of little walls all with a different colour! Cielings too.. woodwork as well ... but never once in all the time that they were here did I see the slightest hint of annoyance. (and I did change my mind once or twice!) They wouldn't leave until I was 100% happy - which

We first met Marc and his team in 2014 and they have been our preferred painters ever since. The latest work was complete external painting of our grade 2 listed white weatherboarded house. The results are excellent. Highly recommended.
