With many years of practical hands-on tree work, our professional and competent staff can provide numerous tree and hedge services including; clear felling, sectional dismantling, crown lifting, crown reduction, re-shaping, dead-wooding, stump grinding and hedge reduction as well as tree planting and formative tree pruning.

We are based on the family farm north of Stamford from where we have been offering arboricultural services to home owners, land owners and businesses, since the 1980's, in Stamford, Bourne, Grantham, Market Deeping, Oakham and surrounding villages.
Is the removal of all minor branches back to the main limbs to reduce the expanse of the tree as part of a management plan that often involves repeated or 'repollarding' for aesthetic reasons as in the Willow or as a way of retaining over grown specimens or structurally weakened trees. Is the mechanical chipping of the stump after felling by our pedestrian controlled self propelled machine.

I am the householder who engaged Bytham Trees to carry the work referred to by Mrs Mann. I was also one of three witnesses who observed Mrs Mann having difficulty catching her horse well before the chain saw was used. The horse was not terrified, it was steadily keeping its’ distance and leading the owner a dance as horses often do. When the tree surgeon started his chain saw the owner stormed across to harangue him in an unpleasant tone, and I was impressed by his polite and controlled response. He immediately switched off the saw until the horse was caught.
