Hedge trimming can be a difficult task without the best equipment. Getting straight lines and clearing up the hedge cuttings accurately and quickly are made much easier with experience and the right tools. A professionally cut hedge can compliment the planting in your garden in the same way a neatly cut lawn can.
We use a variety of techniques to control weeds depending on the situation, the time of year and the weeds to be removed. It may be hoeing, hand weeding or using weedkiller. Weedkiller is only used as a last resort where other techniques would not be so feasible. Juniper Gardens is PA1 and PA6 certified to ensure that weedkiller is applied in as safe, legal and environmentally conscious way.
Plants are beautiful and vast in their diversity yet sometimes it is only subtle differences that distinguish between plant species. A trained eye is often what is needed to spot that particularly special seedling which has just appeared, or the beginnings of something simple like stress from a lack of water.
With fifteen years experience of gardening in and around Cornwall Juniper Gardens has extensive knowledge of which plants are especially suited to our maritime climate.
