Celtic Cross Joinery is a small specialist joinery company run by Duncan Semmens with the help of his son Ryan. We offer a friendly, top quality, comprehensive joinery service to domestic and commercial clients throughout West Cornwall. We are particularly experienced in window joinery, covering sash and bay window joinery.
Celtic Cross Joinery window design and construction range from the traditional sliding sash windows to modern high performance designs, we can offer the perfect wooden windows to enhance any property. All of Celtic Cross Joinery windows can be manufactured to take both single and double-glazing. Our work complies with local council, National Trust and planning restrictions for listed buildings or buildings situated within conservation areas.
We manufacture a range of high quality wooden doors and door frames to standard or non-standard sizes, once again to suit any project, from the tiny traditional cottage through to large houses. If you have specific requirements we can offer you our full, high end, bespoke design service. Using Hardwoods or Softwoods, we can produce door frames from your existing designs or advise on the most suitable solution that will match your overall aspects.
At Celtic Cross Joinery we manufacture made to measure wooden stairs and staircases, with vast experience in wooden bespoke staircase construction we offer quality wooden staircases to both the Trade and to the Public. Our up-to-date equipment allows us to cut down on production time, a saving which is passed on to the customer.
For customers who don't have the space or time to set up a spray or dipping equipment facility we can offer factory finishing of products on our premises. We run a fully equipped working spray shop, applying Remmers coatings to timber windows, doors, accessory trims, glue laminated timber beams, etc.
