Pretlove's is a family-run removals and storage company established in 1904. We have offices in Epping and Saffron Walden in Essex, Haverhill in Suffolk, and in Cambridge. We carry out both household and commercial removals to all parts of the United Kingdom as well as European and overseas destinations.
We also offer a full packing or part packing service. We offer household storage, self-storage and document archiving. We have some of the most up-to-date warehouse facilities, purpose built for the safe storage of household furniture and effects. We also offer packing materials for customers who aren't using our removal service.
Items include packing boxes, wardrobe cartons, packing paper and tape, bubble wrap, and mixed item home moving kits. The removals firm has been in the Pretlove family for four generations. All removals staff are full-time - we do not use part-time, contract or casual staff for the moves. On average our staff have over 10 years experience working for Pretlove's or in the removal industry.

In 2004, Pretlove's very proudly celebrated 100 years and four generations as a family-run removal and storage company. Founded in 1904, in the days of the horse and cart, Pretlove's removals and storage company has progressed from its original base in Epping to depots in Great Chesterford, near Saffron Walden and Haverhill, the latter being completed in 2003.
Our offices are in Epping, Saffron Walden, Haverhill and Cambridge and Pretlove's offers household and commercial removals to all parts of the UK, whether it be a local move or a move to any part of England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. All of our staff are fully trained in the art of furniture removal and will provide the care required to make your moving day go as smoothly as possible.
As well as complete UK coverage, Pretlove's offers removal services to all parts of Europe, whether it be a full household removal or a part-load. For full household removals, Pretlove's offers a dedicated service to meet your scheduling, with door-to-door service, packing services as required and full destination services.
We can offer household and commercial storage facilities at all of our depots in Epping, Saffron Walden (also serving Cambridge) and Haverhill. Over the years Pretlove's has stored many homes or sometimes just part of a home. Maybe the customer has moved into rented accommodation smaller than their original property, or they have not been able to tie up the sale of their old property with their new one.
If you opt for Pretlove's full packing service then you won't need to concern yourself with purchasing any packing materials. If you are undertaking all or part of the packing, then the cartons that you require plus the tape and linen bags will be included as part of the quotation. If you're not using Pretlove's Removal & Storage Service, you can still purchase packing materials directly from us.

I know you employ your teams to get the job done in a professional and safe manner, however I'm sure you must also select them based on a great attitude and good cheer, because there was lots of that in evidence. They were fantastic and nothing was too much for them. Also we appreciated the guys following all the Covid safety protocols in these times. Thanks very much!

We have moved a few times (even across the Atlantic) but this was the first time that we used a company and we will think twice about using a removal company next time. In hindsight, Pretlove's was pretty expensive given that we only moved 2 hours away from Cambridge and we only had two beds, a table, a small wardrobe, a few shelves and boxes to move.
The whole move seemed pretty unprofessional. First of all the movers arrived late and then one of them asked for coffee while standing in our kitchen which was packed up. Trying to be accommodating, I did go out of my way and bought them coffee.

The team was excellent - prompt, polite, efficient and more than helpful, and very professional. All 3 men were all fabulous. They packed our belongings and furniture beautifully, with every attention paid to the last detail. Please pass on our grateful thanks to them again. I would highly recommend Pretloves for any move.

These guys were brilliant! We recently moved house and had them do full packing and removals. The guys were really friendly and helpful, they took all of the stress out of the actual move and took great care of all of our stuff. Including completely dismantling and rebuilding a huge wardrobe. They were also a little bit cheaper than the other companies I had quotes from as they don’t add extra bits on!

I had a very good experience with them. They provided a professional service before and on the day of our removal . The three young men Ross, Callum and Richard were punctual, efficient and extremely supportive. I do highly recommend Pretloves and would ask for these guys as there were absolutely brilliant
