Services
The Family of Mole Beams are designed to provide a brilliant beam of directional light, with soft unfocused subtle edges. Its perfect balance of directionality, along with soft beam edges, allows lighting professionals to create a shaft of light without giving away their artificial source. Each unit has an adjustable beam angle from -5 - 15 degrees.
We hold a vast stock of the entire range of Kino Flo lighting products. Kino Flo has become the industry standard for Fluorescent fixtures in the Film & Television lighting industry. All tubes have a CRI greater than 95 and are designed to work side by side on set with traditional Tungsten and HMI fixtures without Filtration.
A HMI/MSR lamp uses mercury vapour mixed with metal halides in a quartz glass envelope along with two tungsten electrodes of medium arc separation. Unlike traditional lighting units using incandescent light bulbs, HMI/ MSR luminaires need electrical ballasts. These are separated from the head via a header cable to limit the current and supply the proper voltage.
PKE Lighting operates a large and varied fleet of lighting vehicles and mobile silent generators. In addition to the management and running of our own fleet, we also have experienced personnel who can organise the shipping of our modern lighting equipment throughout Europe, Africa and Asia. Every year PKE invests in state of the art generators.
PKE Photographic supplies the professional photographer with a vast choice of flash and continuous lighting equipment. From our base in Manchester we service major advertising campaigns throughout the UK and Europe. Our in house preparation technicians ensure the lighting equipment is tested and inspected prior to dispatch.
