When you move home, it is standard practice to pay your removal company in advance. You would obviously be concerned therefore that if your chosen remover suffered financial failure before your moving date, you would have lost any payment made and so for that reason, BAR members provide an Advanced Payment Guarantee to their customers.

We have used Woods previously for house moves and although they are not the most economical firm to use it is definitely worth paying a little extra for such an important event as moving house. The reassurance and comfort they give at such a potentially stressful time is invaluable.
This last move for me was particularly problematical due to the Coronavirus outbreak and Woods, with no grudges , came to my rescue when the removal company I had booked cancelled on me. To my salvation Woods , having previously given me a quote, could do the dates I needed and they were just brilliant and really saved

Firstly Wood's quote was half that of a local competitor and were not at all phased by the prospect of having to take large articles out through a first floor window in our grade 2 listed dwelling.
On the day the team of three arrived just a few minutes late it being the first working day of the year they were not able to use the right sized van which was not charged fully. This neccesitated two trips luckily our move was less than 10 miles.
The team were polite, worked hard and well together. We had no breakages nor damage.

Dan, Darren and Shaun were professional, pleasant, and an extremely hard working team. Cheerful under pressure nothing was too much trouble. Excellent move, all thanks to them. I would highly recommend Woods for their quality of service and standard of people they employ including Jonathan Blundell in the office and Shaun the estimator. We had a very difficult move from our Offices /workshop industrial unit .
We are an Engineering company with lots of heavy equipment and 30 full filing cabinets needed to come down from the first floor.
Unlike online firms they were prepared to visit site and see what was to be moved. Very professional from start to finish. 2 large lorries and 8 people we were all moved in 1 day. Excellent. Just what we needed.

As promised 2 lorries with 3 removal men arrived promptly. They were very professional in their approach and nothing was too much trouble. Our move was from Bristol to South Dorset and it couldn't have been done any more efficiently. Thank you to Martin, Shaun and Lewis who are a credit to their employer. Woods are definitely a 5 star Removal company. My wife and have just moved 4 industrial units to north Wales without so much as a pencil broken.They did all the packing a definite recommendation. It reliving us from all the effort and stress. They are now in the throws of removed us from our cottage in Dorset to Chester and North Wales. I fogot to confirm the dates thus missing our slots which left us up against on completion date. They organized 3 men to work a weekend and place our possessions in storage with a new removal date. We've had 8 men involved in our removals all professional, polite

Hired Woods to pack up our kitchen and valuables and take all of our house contents into storage. They were very efficient and got everything packed into as few containers as possible in only 1.5 days. They were extremely friendly throughout and made what can be a really stressful experience much easier. Would recommend to everyone! Thank you Mark and everyone!
