While hard floors are not as susceptible to dirt build-up as carpets are, they do still have layers of otherwise invisible dirt. After many years of being walked over, hard floors accumulate a layer of surface dirt that isn't easily moved with traditional mopping methods and can make floors appear dull and matt.

Spilt some red wine on a new carpet and called Jeremy to sort it out. We managed to get most of the wine out with lukewarm water and towels, and Jeremy removed the remaining light staining with some precise spot cleaning. Carpet is now spotless again, and I'm no longer in the dog house. Very happy with the service, would recommend.
