Projects will now be assessed and those schemes considered successful at the first stage assessment will be notified in November that they are "Regional Finalists" and will be put forward to the National Judging Panels for second tier assessment. The National Judging Panels then review all Regional Finalists to determine the final list of National (& International) Civic Trust Award & Highly Commended Winners.
Applicants will then be notified in December whether they have been successful Nationally/Internationally or will remain as Regional Finalists. The 2021 Civic Trust Awards, AABC Conservation Awards & Selwyn Goldsmith Awards for Universal Design have been announced. Due to the current restrictions, for the first time ever, our winners have been revealed in an online video presentation via our YouTube channel.

Services
The Civic Trust Awards scheme was established in 1959 to recognise outstanding architecture, planning and design in the built environment. As the longest standing built environment awards scheme in Europe, since 1959, more than 7000 projects have been rewarded and the scheme has continued in its objective to recognise projects that have made a positive contribution to the local communities they serve.
Projects that make an outstanding contribution to the quality and appearance of the built environment. Award level schemes demonstrate excellence in architecture or design, whilst being sustainable, accessible and provide a positive civic contribution. Projects that make a significant contribution to the quality and appearance of the built environment.
The Civic Trust Awards scheme raises awareness of the important role played by high quality architecture, landscape and urban design and enhancing the quality of the environment. The programme encourages higher standards across the UK and Internationally by rewarding outstanding projects in all fields of environmental design.
For almost 60 years the Civic Trust Awards has encouraged and rewarded organisations who design and construct better places in which we can all live, work and relax. As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely heavily on the support of Sponsors and Members whose support assists us in both the delivery of the scheme and help reinforce the valuable work of our volunteer assessors, who donate thousands of hours to the Awards each year.
