Truwood Furniture was founded in 1984 by Gordon Cook (Managing Director) to produce bespoke furniture, wood turning, antique restoration, furniture repairs and repolishing to the general public. The foundation of the business began near Chester in a domestic garage. From modest beginnings equipped with a cabinet makers tool chest, woodturning lathe and bandsaw the company grew.

Our designer studios work closely and directly with clients, providing expert advice together we produce unique kitchens that are practical, efficiently planned and intrinsically beautiful.
As manufactures to the trade all client referrals are passed on to retail design studios. We will be happy to briefly discuss initial design ideas, client requirements and likely budgets.
