Grassby Flooring was established in 1956 by the original owners Mr & Mrs H Grassby. Originating from Hull, Harold was one of the Midland fitters for a national firm Hewetsons. Originally we were a traditional wood company and that meant fitting wood blocks to various patterns, wood strip, parquet flooring and later in the 60's mosaic fingers.
We also refurbished existing wooden floors to their original condition. As time has gone by and due to customer demand we have gradually progressed in to other types of finishes, mainly vinyls, linoleums, carpet etc. Today we are able to supply and fit most types of floor finishes.
In the early 70's due to the sad demise of Mr Grassby the company was incorporated and Barry Leatherland, a long standing employee became a Director/owner along with Mrs Grassby.When Mrs Grassby retired, Barry's wife Lynda became a Director and along with the help of Secretary Mrs Susan Allen the company has progressed and is now well respected throughout the Uk.

Listen you bully, stop blocking the pavement with your cars at Padside Close. No pedestrian let alone disabled person get by and has to use the street. Then YOU get agressive when in your car if people do.
Like this morning. My disability scooter is a class 3 vehicle,ntaxed and legally on the road. You had your lane blocked, mine was free. Why you utterly despicable person did you had to get agressive? Just behave, adhere to the law. Pavements are NOT your private parking. You have a hindrance on the road in your lane, you wait till you can pass! Are you too stupid to grasp this as you should
