CMC are an Essex based professional scaffolding company; we have been based in Essex for 6 years and previously based in Stratford East London for over 20 years. We relocated to Basildon to accommodate our expanding business needs and secure a freehold site where we could grow our business. We currently own 2 freehold locations in the Basildon area from which we operate.
Chris McCoy and Michael McCoy are the owners of the company and have been since the business was started over 20 years ago. It was previously part of CMcCOY Ltd, Painters and Decorators but in 2004 it was given its own identity and was re named CMC Scaffold & Cradle Ltd, by which it is still known today.

Services
CMC Scaffold offers a supply and erect scaffolding service to many diverse clients and sites. We work on projects from mid-terrace houses to 20 storey towers blocks, as well as large complicated sites with bad or no access. Safety is our key word; we ensure our scaffolders work to all the current legislations and wear all the correct PPE at all times.
CMC Scaffold have approximately 25 scaffolders who are registered with the CITB Construction Industry Training Board and are also CISRS card holders, also 50% of our scaffolders have been CRB checked and we are working to get 100% CRB check in the near future. CMC have a highly experienced management team headed by Andy Phelps who has over 35 years in scaffolding management, he is backed up by his team of supervisors & foremen.
At CMC Scaffold we understand that our clients require the entire current design element to work within the TG 20:13 code of practice and other codes that follow. Therefore we have developed a very good relationship with 2 scaffold design engineers who ensure all designs are to a 1st class standard and have a quick turnaround.
CMC Scaffold are currently involved with many different projects from large sites to difficult Central London locations where access, parking, out of hours working are all part of the plan of works.
