Extremely disappointed, frustrating and unbelievably awful service received from Mitchell glass.
I paid deposit to MG in September 2020 to install aluminum windows and the entire project was dependent on receiving planning permission, which was part of my contract.
Communication exceptional poor, emails not answered, no follow up from staff, I even offered to contact council on their behalf as I was getting no information from MG, even a complaints letter left unanswered (was received as signed for) and only responded after 2nd complaint letter sent through their website.
Apart from the delays

Product is okay but they are terrible at communication when there's a delay.
The Head Office needs to get it's act together, organisation achievable schedules between customer and fitters, and updating all parties when problems arise.
Today's replacement glass was supposed to have been fitted at 10:30, but didn't happen till 14:15!
This is a regular experience when dealing with this Company.

We tried to buy local but after visiting the showroom, sending in our plans and window sizes for our new build and calling numerous times we have have given up with this company, they don't seem interested, least they could do was say they didn't want our custom and we could have looked elsewhere quicker.

We had fantastic customer service expiereince at the beginnign of the contract with Mitchell Glass.
Once the sale people passed the project to the production everything went downhill.
The 12 weeks for production they offer is only after sign off, which takes weeks especially when you trying to communicate with them back and forth, adding architects and contractors into the mix.
Covid obviously slowed down the production, which is understandable, and they were in good contact with us through out the porcess.
The biggest problem for us started when they finnaly came and fitted the bifold, two

Altogether a great experience getting a new front door and patio doors from Mitchell's Glass. The communication and organisation was excellent. The fitters were very friendly, considerate, on time and detailed in their work. A slight improvement was needed and was dealt with very quickly. Even though we all had to wait due to covid, once it was possible again, everything was reorganised and carried on as before. Really pleased with the work. Thank you.

I called out Mitchell Glass last Friday late afternoon when one of my windows wouldn't close. I was initially quoted a call out charge and I understood that as it being a Friday afternoon, but I had to get the window sorted. Staff were extremely helpful and understanding. Craig who attended had just finished work when they called him. He arrived about 20 mins after my call and fixed my window and gave advice if the problem happened again. Thank you Craig !
I phoned up just after he left to settle up and was informed I would get a call on Monday. I got a call on

We had four sash PVC double glazed windows installed by Mitchells, and have been very impressed. Very good and reliable service, clearly very experienced team, friendly and helpful. Good value for money - and I don't know why we didn't do this years ago. It would have saved a lot of scraping, sanding and painting of the wooden windows that we had before. Top marks.
