One of the most beautiful properties we have had the pleasure of being involved with. Being newly renovated, we worked with developer client and interior designers to put together a spec to suite the Old style of the house to the new with a specification to install a TV viewing/Cinema room alongside multiple multi room AV installation including control and security.
With a small room in this family home, the client wanted Q Smartdesign to come up with ideas as to what could be done in designing a dedicated Cinema Room. The brief was to keep everything seamless and tidy allowing enough seating for 4 Chairs. After a demonstration of a similar sized room at our cinema room partner Pulse Marketing, we decided a multi view room (TV and Projector) was to be designed.
A new development, we worked alongside the developer to pre cable certain specifications before property were purchased. When our client purchased the property we had all areas covered for a number of different installs. Wanting the look of the house to stay clean, and the main rooms being used was the Kitchen and Living room space which had the options of being one big room or two using sliding pocket doors.
We were given a spare room in a large house with no purpose, and asked to create an intimate dedicated cinema, concentrating on quality sound and picture performance. The clients also had a huge Blu-ray collection they wanted stored and hidden with the room. An obstacle to overcome in this rooms original design was the fact it had hardwood floors, a large bay window and flat plastered wall.
