PHR engineering is a small family company that has been established since 1972. PHR specialises in the manufacturing of security grilles for trade and public, and mass production of a trade product range for security wholesalers throughout the UK. At PHR Security, we appreciate that security grilles and gates are not the most exciting or attractive improvement that you are going to make to your property.
Bar doors and gates are ideal solutions for either an additional barrier to an existing door or a single barrier to side alleys and pathways providing access control to your premises. Like all grilles bar doors can be installed internally or externally providing a secure barrier to prevent a potential intruder from gaining access to your property.
Security bar grilles, for windows, are a type of security grille that is usually comprised of vertical bars, passing through a horizontal strapping at a number of intervals that are determined by the height of the grille. Bar grilles are usually permanently fixed solutions to securing a window, and are most commonly found in basement properties where the window is concealed from the public eye.
Security mesh grilles offer a lightweight means of protecting glazed areas. Being typically lightweight, mesh grilles can be fixed to windows and doors with minimal hindrance to the operation. Security mesh is an ideal type of protection for two situations. When installed on the outside, its primary method of defence would be to protect the glazed area from vandalism.

My wife came across on the web of PHR Security. We called and immediately Darren seemed so helpful and knowledgeable. We needed to install brand new collapsable shutters in all numerous doors and windows of our new flat. Darren and his father came around for an inspection, and soon afterwards a very competitive quote was received. Any questions and alterations to original quote were done efficiently
On the day of installation they turned up on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up after.
They even had the time to fix a blind which I had unsuccessfully tried to install myself which was a pleasant surprise when I got back and greatly appreciated.
I would recommend this company to those wanting security gates and doors fitted.

Sometimes you just know that you're making a good choice as soon as the phone gets answered on initial enquiry. Within the hour they were on my premises, measuring up, another further hour and I had a firm quote from them. They did the fitting on the agreed date (today), they arrived on the dot, told me how long it would take, and were out the door within that time. No mess either. Happy to recommend.

I have recently fitted security grill from P.H.R Security. They are fitted professionally clean and hover them self, they were very much on time, the staff was very friendly. I needed replacement security bars for a window, Darren came out swiftly to survey, measure up and quote. The making of the bars were on schedule and the installation occurred a few days after that. Darren came out to install the bars. He is a delight to work with - professional, efficient, polite, considerate and provides the highest standard of service, product and finish. Not only I am very pleased with the finished product (which is an excellent quality and well installed, fitting perfectly into the space), but also the service that came with it. And Darren cleaned up, leaving the area immaculate
