Bushy Business was founded up by Chris Stone in 1996 whilst he trained at Merrist Wood Horticultural College. Starting from a humble blue Mini van the company has steadily grown and established itself as a professional, dependable business with a meticulous attention to detail, high customer service levels and with a strong a work ethic.
We are aware that this is a unique and unusual time and you may be wondering how - or even IF - we can help you. We are delighted to say that, due to the nature of our work, much of what we do has been able to continue safely. We have made a few adjustments to our procedures, in order to keep both our team and our customers safe.
Maybe it was our parents, or our family as a whole that got us hooked on gardens. Maybe it was the brief period we spent in Australia as children that instilled that indoor/ outdoor mentality. Whatever it was it stuck, it got its claws in and we couldn't get free - thankfully! Both David and I feel very fortunate that we can work within an industry that we feel so passionate about.

We asked David Stone and his team to design and plant a large area in our rear garden following a house extension project done last year. The design involved new patio areas on several levels , fully irrigated new borders with a sympathetic planting design, planting of new trees and an extensive area of lawn re-turfing. Right from the outset David listened very carefully to our wishes both on the hard landscaping design and planting front and after giving us plenty of choice and interesting options came up with a solution that we couldn't me more happy with. With an empty patch of back garden grass, we were told time and time again how lucky we were to have a blank canvas. We just felt like we didn’t know where to begin, or even what we wanted. After a long period of indecision we enlisted the help of the Bushy Boys. What a great choice it turned out to be.
From the word “go” they were unfailingly helpful, respectful, accommodating and were clearly experienced professionals. The degree of attention to detail and their willingness and eagerness to decipher our rambling descriptions of our desired elements of the garden was quite remarkable.

I am amazed at how incredibly helpful Natalie, Chris and Jo have been over the past few days, when I had been in crisis over supplies for my garden. The team at Bushy Business has bent over backwards to accommodate my needs and delivery times and the patience and good humour Natalie has shown me, during my frequent 'phone calls, has been extraordinary, to say the least.
