Our Managing Director, Ian Henderson, has particular expertise in understanding and advising on property disputes and specialises in dilapidations on commercial property. Ian regularly presents cpd events for The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) on the subject and receives appointments as an Expert as well as Arbitrator in commercial disputes on dilapidations.

Ian also has extensive experience in undertaking pre-purchase and pre-lease surveys as well as managing, specifying and administering the maintenance, repair, alteration and refurbishment of commercial, industrial and historic buildings. Owning property also carries responsibility and we can assist in protecting and maximising your property investment.

Whether you are an occupier or investor, we offer space planning and design, project management, contract administration, cost management, planning supervision and DDA audits. Our project work currently includes repair and maintenance, alteration, refurbishment and development appraisals.

He is past chair of the Building Surveying Professional Group Board of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in Scotland. Further qualifications include a Level 7 BTEC Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence. Since graduating in 1985, Ian has always worked in private practice providing a full range of building surveying services on commercial, retail, industrial and residential properties.

Originally built as Stirling High School, the building is Category 'A' Listed as being of Special. Designed by William Playfair and commissioned by the City of Edinburgh, this A listed church building.
