Generally good service - could have been swifter finalising the job.
The window broken by burglars to steal my keys (and car!) was boarded up promptly. It has taken a little longer than I would have liked to arrange replacement of the broken glass (from 08 Feb until 19 Feb) but Montrose have communicated with me in a timely fashion to let me know progress.

Happy with product, Customer Service needs a little work
We initially googled for a company to install a catflap for us and found Montrose Glass.
Call to them was ok, we agreed on product and price fairly quickly.
The product was fitted swiftly and efficiently and does the job we hoped it would.
I would have given 5 stars but I feel 4 is fair due to some poor communication about fitting dates.

Swift response and excellent service altogether!
I discovered Montrose Glass sometime in November, when I needed my bedroom window secured, as it was practically hanging on a tread. It was a windy Sunday and I was extremely worried that it will fall on someone's head. I called this company and had my window in
place within a few hours.
Almost a month and a half later and after several, systematically cancelled and rescheduled appointments by the company that looks after our building, I told my landlord that I am taking matters into my own hands and calling Montrose again, so that I have a window that
operates before the new year.
I called the company again and had it fixed in practically 15 minutes by two of their employees that same week.
On the 29th of December, just after 1pm, precisely.
I told my landlord that this was the best post Christmas gift ever.
I am beyond happy with the speed with which they responded to me on both instances, as well as the great customer service their company provides.
I can't recommend them highly enough.

Damaged double glazed unit - possibly a thrown stone on a rainy late Sunday afternoon. (SE18)
Contacted the company appeared efficient, providing a mid range quote. I decided to go Montrose Glass because of the professional way I was spoken to and the feeling of a company who cared. It took a while for 'boarding the window' chap to arrive, when he did he again appeared to care and very polite.
One constructive thought to enhance service - I was given an ETA but due to traffic I had to wait a further hour for the boardman. it would have been very helpful if the office had contacted me proactively with a revised ETA. Another way could be via a telephone tracking app attached to website

Large front-door window shattered on the eve of our departure for a holiday
When we had a window breakage on the day before going on holiday, Montrose Glass got a glazier out within two hours. He was able to stabilize our badly-damaged window pending replacement, which took place a week later, with the new pane fitted swiftly on the appointed day. Everything was handled promptly and straightforwardly, and we are very happy to recommend this company.

Great product, and equally good customer support. We recently had a sky light crack, and Montrose took care of it from covering up the damaged window, quoting for a replacement quickly (which turned out to be the best quote) then scheduling the replacement swiftly, with good follow ups along the way, to keep up updated.

I contacted Montrose glass for a quote for a price to have a replacement double glazed panel with a cat door fitted for my conservatory.
I was given a price which was reduced slightly when I gave the width of the panel, since it was narrower than a 'normal' size panel. Credit card details were taken - very well trained subtle pushy salesman, who failed to tell me his name.
A contractor for the company appeared within an hour. Very professional, arranged for the panel to be fitted a few days later. Shortly afterwards I realised that the time arranged would clash with an appointment I could

Terrible experience!
Booked for a window gear replacement on UPC window. I believe I explained my problem to the 'expert', who didn't communicate my needs properly to the glazer, which led to a lot of confusion.
The worst bit is the glazer dropped his tools on our laminate floor and left two big dents. When I called back the next morning, I was told it is not possible that it was their fault.
Extremely Rude service on the phone. And I now need to replace the bedroom floorboards as a result!
Avoid them if you can!

Granted I rang an emergency line to enquire about a glass shelf that had collapsed which needed a specifically sized pane and granted although I was speaking to a glazing expert, I was apparently overstepping the mark when I asked about alternative sources to get said pane. The expert was borderline rude and then put me on hold for several minutes with no explanation after which time I hung up.
I grumbled via email and was called back with a non apology involving explanations about priority calls etc.
Being a doctor I know something about triage and have never knowingly put a sore toe on hold
