Services
David and Margaret set up The Garden Factory as an online garden centre in 2009. They have been involved in gardening, landscaping and garden retail for over 50 years! Together with a dedicated team of gardening experts, they run the online business in conjunction with the lively Abercorn Garden Centre in Chelmsford, Essex.
Come and view our refurbished garden centre, we are now able to stock lots of new and exciting products. Come down and have a look for yourself! We now have a Pop Up Cafe Marquee where you can come and have a relaxing rest with our range of hot drinks and cakes. Soup and Bacon or sausage rolls are available daily.
As a big thank you to our regular customers and as an incentive to all our customers to visit throughout the year, we encourage the uptake of our Gardeners Reward Card which is FREE to use with the advantage of gaining points for just purchasing product from Abercorn. The value of the points offered is a whopping 5% and is applicable to nearly all the products we sell including furniture, bbqs, plants, compost and chemicals.
At Abercorn Plant and Garden Centre we sell and stock a wide range of plants, some of which are show below. Plants stock vary due to season or availability. Please fill free to give us a call on 01245 25 73 98 to ask us any questions. If the plant you require is not in stock then we will do our best to source it for you.
The paving varies from the most basic concrete slabs which are ideal for simple projects like a base for a shed to a budget range of non slip textured slabs. In addition to this we have a range which has a 'riven' finish which looks similar to a natural stone finish. The next level in quality of paving is a range of 'natural' sandstone which is cut from an Indian quarry.
