Garry Adam Architect was established in 2001 and continues to maintain a strong track record of built work in domestic private rural and urban housing and communities of houses of all scales. Underpinning our work is a belief in architecture's capacity to positively transform peoples lives and contribute sensitively to the built and natural environments.

Our practice specialises in sustainable and low energy architecture in combination with an innovative approach to the spatial and aesthetic design of buildings. Garry has personal experience of Passivhaus Design having passed the Certified European Passive Home Designer course in 2011, and then gone on to design his own Passive Home at Kirkton of Craig.

He also has experience in SAP, energy modelling at domestic and community scale coupled with sophisticated 3-D visualisation and scale modelling skills. We also have significant experience of self build and property development. Garry graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1989 and has over 30 years of experience working on a range of project scales from large commercial office development to modest private house extensions.
