Good variety and choice of all types of lighting...wall, ceiling, chandeliers, pedestal, LED, drop lights etc etc. Def worth checking out if you are looking for lighting.

Spent almost £600 on 8 lights a few days ago. Went in today to pick as they had to be ordered in. Asked if I could change two of them for a different design and the man in the shop immediately became abusive, saying that he could only give me a credit note. There was no way, that I'd ever enter his shop again so am stuck with two lights that we don't need. He really is the nasty faulty towers type as another reviewer has pointed out. Wish I had read the reviews before going into shop, which, by the way, is pretty badly stocked with mostly overpriced tasteless items. Avoid, much better selection

I took a small wall light fitting in that was no longer working and, in agreement with the suggestion of the guy in the shop, left it that they would ring me to let me know how much it would cost to fix. A couple of days later I got a call to say they had simply repaired it at a cost of £40. I went in and calmly said that was not what we had agreed and the guy in the shop simply said "most customers would be grateful..." There was no apology, he simply said that twice. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised having arrived in Finchley to see the array of lights this store has on offer. My wife & I were so very excited about choosing our lights around the house especially the new decorated Living room.
The store Manager was great, he spent time with us and explained all that we needed to know about the lights we had chosen and then we decided to complete the deal as we were sold on the products and the service that we recieved.
As you can see we’re very happy as the lights were delivered promptly allow us to get the electrician in to hang these beauties.

I went to the store and the Manager was busy but ensured I was taken care of until he was ready. Once I was served I was offered exceptional service and all my questions were answered. The manager ensured I was able to order the products I wanted despite them being difficult to ship due to Covid. I was grateful for the advice, as some of the products I wanted were not suitable for my home and I was able to choose the most suitable options with his advice for the size of the rooms. Excellent after sales service. I needed a small spare part for a lighting fitting that I purchased from them about 20 years ago. The part was delivered to me within four days, and there was no charge. Couldn't have done better.

Reasonable selection, but extortionate pricing! A lamp available from other retailers at £80 is priced at £130 here. They also add bulbs to the order without asking (even if the light already has a bulb), and charge 4x high street prices for exactly the same bulbs (10 vs 2.49). So say no to bulbs, and check prices elsewhere before you buy.
This seems an explicit strategy: no photos allowed (so you can't check prices); no product information apart from the obvious brands (Flos etc). No refunds are given. Credit notes only last 12 months. No price matching (they'd apparently rather not sell!)

They missed their deadline by over a week. When we asked to return 2 of the 5 lights instead of telling us their policy the first reaction was and I quote "Your lieing you found then cheaper online". How dare you speak to anyone let alone a customer like that.
We had another 5 lights to purchase and were going back but will never deal with this company again.

I was searching for a nice stylish light for the entrance of our building and the only place I found in Europe to sell such beautiful products is the Lighting Store. I bought it online for an overseas delivery (France), and had a great experience with very kind people over email. Great customer service!
