Centreline was created after many years of working within the building and construction sector, on a variety of schemes and with some of the largest architects and structural engineering practices. From small housing developments to schools and hotels we have played a large part in many projects and now bring much of this real life experience to the local areas in and around Scunthorpe and Doncaster.
We actually started by chance when some friends of ours wanted to build an extension and found that local architects were quite simply not bothered. We pride ourselves in providing a prompt, professional service and understand the importance of explaining things clearly to our clients who have often never embarked on the whole planning process before.
We understand it can be quite daunting and look to keep our clients informed of all that is happening at each step along the way.

Here at Centreline no matter what type of planning application your project requires we will advise and take care of what ever additional reports you may need to include. Design & Access Statements and sometimes specialist reports which we shall commission such as ecological or protected species reports, tree reports, highways or historic fabric reports.
No matter what you want to achieve with your home, we offer a full 3D Modelling service that will help bring your ideas to fruition. Centreline Consulting have years of experience building all types of loft conversions for all types of homes, so you know your next project will be in good hands. Planning permission is often not required providing the new volume created is kept under certain sizes, there are many other restrictions that also apply.
An extension or addition to your house is sometimes considered to be permitted development, not requiring an application for planning permission, subject to certain conditions. This can be checked by submitting a permitted development application for the proposed works, this generally involves less work than a householder application and has a shorter timescale for approval.
Some extensions to your home are considered to be permitted development, not requiring an application for planning permission, but in many cases they often do require a house holder planning application. These are additions that are sometimes on the side of the house or forward of the principle elevation.
New build homes require Full planning permission and often the site already has outline planning permission granted, meaning the outline conditions of what the site can be used for has been passed. It is now a case of submitting more detailed proposals. Your development will require a building regulation submission also which will form a part of the works.
