It will take much longer to rewire an occupied house than an empty one which will also be reflected in the price. If you are a property agent, commercial or industrial client we can discuss prices on a one to one basis. Please contact us for further information for call-out charges, management contracts, etc.
I have used the services of Thomas from Payne Electrical on several occasions. He is punctual, polite, trustworthy and extremely professional. I would not use anyone else for my electrical requirements and have no hesitation in recommending him. We have used the services of Payne Electrical since 2008 for a number of different jobs.
Once you have decided on a consumer unit it is also highly recommended to consider having a surge suppressor installed. A surge suppressor or surge protection device SPD is designed to protect the electrical devices used by the installation from voltage spikes. Tom was punctual, polite, hardworking and professional. He was keen to discuss our needs and offer advice as to the best solutions. This included changing single sockets to double sockets, adding new double sockets, installing two new light fittings and a shaver point and installing a new fuse box. He was very knowledgeable and completed all works to a high standard. We will have no hesitation in using him again.

This is my second time using Tom at Payne Electrical Services. 1st time replacing all my downstairs sockets, light switches and adding a few additional ones. 2nd time following a builder accidentally cutting through a mains wire leaving us with no working sockets. On both occasions Tom has been polite, highly professional and ultimately delivered work of a very high quality not to mention at a very reasonable price. No doubt I will continue to use his services in future.

I met Tom for the first time today and was impressed with his workmanship and knowledge of Radiolink Smoke/Heat alarms and efficient way of installing them. He also explained well about future testing and maintenance. He even went out of his way to repair a leaking pressure relief valve in the kitchen. Strongly recommended.

We were in need of a brand new consumer unit(fuse box), replacement sockets and new sockets as well as an earth connection to our gas and water mains.
We went with Thomas after looking on google and really don’t think we could have found anyone better!!
He was quick to respond, on time for consultation and the both days he worked 9-5 flat out on two very hot days!
Quote and invoice were spot on too,
Could not recommend Thomas more highly and will definitely be having him do more work in the future!!
