Over the years we have undertaken many contract builds and realised the importance of forging a close relationship with clients. All too often you hear that the dream does not become the realisation and if you have ever embarked on his type of project, be assured that our years of experience will be able to guide you though all aspects of the project, having built over 50 contract build properties in the last few years.
Poplars Barn in Finedon originally started out as a straight forward Barn conversion but due to the serious deterioration over the years it became clear that the building was structurally unsafe. We contacted The Conservation Officer for the Local Authority to see if it was possible to reconstruct the barn from new using all the original stone and reclaimed materials, planning was approved and the barn was rebuilt.
Pete and Hannah had a conservatory at the back of their house which was cold and damp in the winter and far too hot in the summer so they decided to have a new summer room built that they could use all year round. Although we carried out the work we can't take credit for the lovely interior design which is down to Hannah.
The new house in Boughton was built for Ruth & Colin in the garden of their old home. The clients were able to live in their old house and pop in every day for an update and to keep our workmen topped up with tea and cake. The end result was a lovely traditional home that sits comfortably alongside the original house and looks like its been there for many years.
