LTB Blinds & Curtains formerly known as Launceston, Tavistock & Bodmin Blinds was started by Paul Arscott in 1990 and was known as Launceston Window Blinds. In 1993, the business moved to the new manufacturing unit in Tinhay Industrial Estate in Lifton. Bodmin Blinds Showroom opened in 1995 followed by the opening of Tavistock Blinds Showroom in Paddon's Row Arcade in 1996.
The business was known as "Launceston, Tavistock and Bodmin Blinds" until 2001 when the name was abbreviated to "LTB Blinds" - taking the initial of each town. The Manufacturing Unit and Head Office doubled in size in 2002 with Paul purchasing Unit B next door.
Polly Arscott, Paul's wife, joined the team in 2004 and looks after the Office Administration and Accounts whilst assisting Customers with advice on all aspects of Window Furnishings and Fabrics.It was also 2004 when Paul decided to expand further and utilize his 10 years experience fitting made to measure window furnishings by introducing Curtains and Soft furnishings to the Portfolio of the Business.
