We are specialists in EPDM rubber flat roof installations whether it is to replace an existing roof or to install on a new build.
Yes - Occasionally and with normal footwear e.g. when carrying out maintenance/ window cleaning etc. Any existing ponding of water on various areas of your roof may be reduced but will not be completely eradicated. This will not in any way affect the material its life, performance or guarantee. Not in all cases.
EPDM stands for "ethylene propylene diene monomer" and is a durable rubber made from engineered polymers. Because of its unique properties EPDM rubber is ideal for use on flat roof applications such as extensions, garages, dormer roofs, balconies and out-buildings. Unlike traditional felt, it won't crack, split or tear and is very flexible, allowing it to expand and contract with the changing seasons.
If you have an extension or room in your house fitted with a flat roof and you find that it is difficult to keep cool in the summer and expensive to heat in the winter then it is almost certainly due to inefficient or inadequate roof insulation. This can be quite common especially in older buildings and can not only make using the rooms uncomfortable but can also cost you money due to increased heating bills.

There's only one word to describe my interactions with Thermal Roof Ltd and that is "Brilliant". Spoke to Wayne initially in the early part of December after I had found examples of their work on an internet search. Two days later Roy and Wayne came to do a survey on our existing useless polycarbonate conservatory roof. They talked through various scenarios for our new roof and I was very pleased with the interaction which led me to believe that I would get what I wanted. I used Thermal Roof to replace the old felt flat roofs on our dormer windows and to change some guttering. Excellent professional job and really friendly team. Certainly felt the difference in warmth with the new system vs old, so definitely money well spent.

Had damp problems in my flat roof which is over 30 years old. So bad the wallpaper kept peeling off the walls and we couldn't even put up shelves as the walls were so unstable the fixings fell out.
