Absolutely lousy company. Want to give them a big fat 0. Had issues with my 3 year old door (a manufacturer issue - the door is literally splitting apart). As my installer had gone bust I hoped Solidor would help out. They were unhelpful at best and in the end wiped their hands of the issue by not replying to my calls and emails. This left me with a broken door and finding a way of getting it replaced. Poor quality, overpriced doors with lousy end user customer service. Avoid!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. We use Solidor regularly where I work and lately the service we've had from them is diabolical. We understand raw materials are hard to get because of COVID & BREXIT, but delivery delays are rarely communicated to us and we're constantly letting our customers down because of this.
One door in particular that was ordered on 28/04 and should have been delivered in May still hasn't arrived and we're now on 15/07, even though we've been promised it at least 2 times.
Appalling service.

Our Solidor front door was fitted in 2018. From the start we had problems. This is because it is badly, visibly bowed. It protrudes inwards from the door frame by close to 10mm at top and bottom. As a result, the lock and bolt (and house alarm) mechanisms struggle to align. Children and the elderly cannot open the door at all, from either side. Guests and tradesmen have to be helped out, as none can manage the door without our assistance. As we struggle with it too, my partner and I have taken to using the patio doors at the back of the house to get in and out. As a functioning door, our Solidor

Dealt with Solidor for around 3-4 months. I've been in the industry along time. Customer service is excellent and quality of product is even better. They offer by far the most comprehensive choice of doors.
Reading a few comments below seem extremely harsh considering Solidor don't deal with the end user. Seems in many cases people need to be directing their anger at the middle men!
