Shawn and Lou, from Brighton, opened The Door in 2015 to offer guests something totally different to the usual B&B experience. All five stunning rooms are uniquely decorated and all en-suite. Don't worry about your arrival time, we have a check yourself in system. This means there are secure key safes located at the front door (which is blue!) and you will be emailed your own personal code to access the B&B on the day you arrive.
We offer the healthiest breakfast in Newquay! A super delicious, home made 'breakfast bag' which can be enjoyed in your room or just down the road on the beach. In the bag you will find overnight oats, homemade cake, fruit and fresh juice. They can be enjoyed from 8am, perfect for the early birds and the lazy bones!
All our rooms are en-suite, have king-size beds and we've supplied them with everything we think you need to kick back in comfort, including super comfy goose down duvet and pillows, tea and coffee making facilities, TVs, DVD players, DAB radios, hair-dryers, bath towels, a selection of toiletries and, of course, free Wi-Fi!

The Blue Door is situated very close to Newquay centre. It takes about 5 mins walking downhill to get to the bars and restaurant. We stayed there 14-18th June, weather was brilliant, our room had a sea view and came equipped with a telescope. The breakfast was first class and was delivered to your room early morning. Overnight oats, fruit, cake just so yummy yum yum. I think the usual procedure is to eat breakfast in the dining area which was closed due to COVID-19. There are plenty of walks and things to do, the beaches are absolutely stunning. We travelled to Padstow for the day which is bus

We loved staying here! Wonderful hosts, great service, very tasty brekkie included. Stayed in Room 2 and we were really happy, it was a good size and had a great look, equipped with everything. We requested an iron at one point and the hosts we’re on it within 2 minutes! Really brilliant. Fab location, just a short walk from Newquay highstreet and beach, not far from Fistral either. AND you get a parking spot too for exploring further out. We will definitely be back to try another of the 5 different themed rooms! Thanks for having us!

Excellent cute and quirky little B&B. I stayed in Room 2, which was small but super cosy and clean. The bed and bed sheets were amazing, I had such a good sleep. The hosts were lovely and it was the best breakfast I've had in a B&B ever! Loved the added touch of vinyls being played during breakfast.

I really can't say enough on here that will give this place the true credit it deserves. We went here in July 2018, One of the best B&Bs in Newquay hands down. The couple that own and work here are just so friendly and helpful, they could not have done more whilst we were there. The room (4) was exactly what we wanted, super clean and tidy and sleep like a log. Breakfast each morning was great, food excellent and they are more than happy if you want to change items. Will be back here in 2019!
