We're proud of every move that we do, moving hundreds of houses each year, we like to take care of the detail. Moving done differently - our foundations are built on our clients, many use us more than once, and all who do recommend us to others. Move home, move abroad, move office, downsize, store surplus furniture and transport valuable artworks and antiques.
Our expert, efficient house removals team has many years' experience helping people move to and from homes of all sizes. Many of our clients come through word of mouth, the very best form of compliment on what we do. No challenge is too large or too small for our team. We can wrap for you, pack for you, build for you, do pretty much anything for you apart from decorate!
House & Carriage offers European and international removal services, for single items or whole houses. Like everything else, it's all in the planning - giving you the peace of mind that we'll take care of it. For smaller European moves our own porters drive the House & Carriage trucks to the location and set you up just as if you were moving within the UK.
We have the necessary specialist knowledge and experience for moving valuable items with extra care and attention. There are some things that are so precious and in some cases so valuable that they need that extra bit of care and attention during the moving process. Crates can be constructed, boxes built and frames made that will give the best protection to your most treasured possessions whether it be portrait, painting, chandelier or sculpture.

They stored our furniture for several months and then delivered and unpacked. Responded quickly to all the changes we needed to make, both by email and phone. Detailed and clear quote. Removal guys were excellent. Considering there was a huge amount of mud in the road when delivering our furniture, inside was kept completely clean. Everyone polite and reliable, and they had to work with another firm who had initially packed our stuff. Great job.

I used House and Carriage for my recent house move and I can't fault the service they provided. From the moment I called them, they were friendly and very efficient. It was also great value-for-money for the stress it saved me!. I used their packing service as well as the removals service and both were great. The move itself went very smoothly, the team were polite, friendly and efficient and the whole thing went like clockwork. I would highly recommend them!

We contacted them very last-minute to move our bulky items and they were able to send two chaps with a van, who arrived promptly and moved everything we had asked for when booking plus extra and even plumbed in my washing-machine. Very highly recommended.
