Starting out as a sole trader, John Flint formed the company in 1971. Initially serving an apprenticeship with Eastern Electricity and then a move to AEI Tension cables provided experience of HV installations involving oil filled cables from 33kV to 275kV. A position as Foreman with another contractor saw him coordinating several installation teams.
All LV Installations are selected and installed with the utmost care and genuine desire to ensure ease of maintenance, a high level of customer satisfaction and cost effective testing for future compliance. J. Flint Electrical Ltd can offer complete and partial electrical installation including the following.
Experience gained over many years dealing with HV installations allow us to offer the following services. Senior authorised person for 11kV isolation and issue of permits on existing installations. We are able to provide cable jointing services for all types of cable technologies. We operate on LV and HV systems and stock a wide range of joints to enable us to offer rapid response.
Close working relationships with several equipment specialists enable us to supply and install the following. We can supply and install UPS equipment from small single phase rack mounted designs to much larger three phase units complete with all the associated switchgear for both single module and parallel redundant systems.
